Jeudi 19 novembre, en conférence de presse, l’avocat du chef d’Etat républicain est revenu sur le scrutin, dénonçant « un plan centralisé » du parti rival visant à concentrer la fraude sur « les grandes villes contrôlées par les démocrates et celles qui ont un long passé de corruption », rapporte Le Figaro.

« Ce qui est ressorti très vite, c’est qu’il n’y a pas eu fraude électorale dans un seul État, la tendance se répète dans plusieurs États », a également assuré Rudy Giuliani, expliquant notamment qu’à Philadelphie, en Pennsylvanie, des électeurs de l’Etat voisin du New Jersey ont pu voter sans être contrôlés.

L’ancien maire de New York a aussi pointé, toujours à propos de l’élection, « une combine organisée qui vient directement du parti démocrate et vient du candidat », à savoir Joe Biden. « C’est pourquoi il n’a peut-être pas eu besoin de sortir et de faire campagne », a poursuivi Rudy Giuliani, alors que l’ancien vice-président de Barack Obama avait renoncé à une partie de ses meetings physiques, Covid-19 oblige.

Un autre conseil de Donald Trump, Sidney Powell, a, lui, chargé l’entreprise canadienne Dominion, impliquée dans le processus électoral dans le Michigan via un logiciel de vote. Une autre société, Smartmatic, qui détiendrait Dominion et aurait des liens avec le gouvernement vénézuélien, le milliardaire George Soros ou encore la Chine, a également été citée par l’avocat comme possible coupable d’une fraude massive.
