« Je m’appelle Rzeq Allah ou Abu Jaber pour les amis, c’est mon magasin, ça l’était déjà avant la guerre. J’ai été obligé de fermer pendant près de 6 ans et me voilà de retour. Quand la guerre a commencé tout est devenu très difficile, je ne pouvais même pas venir à mon magasin, ils envoyaient des roquettes ici … tu vois le trou devant? J’ai été chanceux ce jour-là, j’ai fermé ma petite librairie et 15 minutes plus tard une roquette est tombée juste devant en détruisant tout …
Je suis rentré chez moi, j’ai rejoint ma femme, en vie grâce à Dieu.
J’ai un fils dans l’armée, il s’appelle Jamil, il a été kidnappé par « l’armée Syrienne libre », il avait 30 ans à ce moment et était docteur en mathématiques, il a étudié à l’université de Berlin et est revenu ici pour enseigner à l’université d’Homs. Quand la guerre a commencé la plupart des hommes ont été appelés à l’armée et après un an il est rentré à l’armée ou il a été envoyé à Idlib, à la frontière avec la Turquie, une ville qui s’appelle Harèm. Quand les terroristes ont envahi la ville ils l’ont pris.
Je sais qu’il a été enlevé vivant mais la plupart de ses amis ont été exécutés. Voilà 6 ans que c’est arrivé et 6 ans que je n’ai pas de nouvelles, je ne sais pas où il est maintenant, qu’est-ce qu’il fait, s’il est en vie, je l’ai donné à Dieu. Je reste ici, j’attends qu’il revienne, je ne sais pas quand, je ne sais pas s’il reviendra un jour … Je ne peux rien faire pour ça, simplement attendre.
J’ai beaucoup d’amis en France, ils m’ont proposé de me faire venir là-bas, de m’aider … mais je veux attendre que mon fils revienne. Je ne sais pas ce qui arrivera plus tard, je ne crois pas que la guerre s’arrêtera surtout à cause des Usa et d’Israël … qu’est-ce que l’on peut faire … ? Prier je suppose. »

« My name is Rzeq Allah, this was my shop already before the war, I had to close it for 6 years and now I came back. When the war started everything became very hard, I couldn’t even come to my shop, they were sending rockets here … you see this impact front of my shop? I’ve been lucky that day, I closed my shop and 15 minutes later the rocket fell and destroyed everything. I went home with my wife alive, thanks god.
I’ve a son in the army, Jamil, he was kidnapped by the « Free Syrian Army », he was a 30 yo doctor in Mathematics, he studied in Berlin university, he came back here and started to teach in the university of Homs. When the war started, most of the mens were called for the army and after a year he went to the army and was sent to Idlib at the border with Turkey in the city of Harèm, he was there when the terrorists invaded the city and they kidnapped him.
I know he was taken alive but most of this other friends were killed. After 6 years, I didn’t have any news about him, I don’t know where is he now, what is he doing, if he is still alive, I gave him to god. I’m waiting for him to come back, I don’t know when, I don’t know if he will come back … I can’t do anything for that. I’ve friends in France, they ask me if I want to come there, they told me they can help me … but I want to wait for my son to come back. I don’t know what will happen later, I dont think the war is gonna end, especially with Israel and America …What can we do? Just pray I guess. »
