Toys est une comédie fantastique américaine sortie dans les salles en 1992, réalisé par Barry Levinson, co-écrit par Levinson et Valerie Curtin, avec Robin Williams, Michael Gambon, Joan Cusack, Robin Wright, LL Cool J et Jamie Foxx dans son premier long métrage. Sortie respectivement en décembre 1992 aux États-Unis et en mars et avril 1993 au Royaume-Uni et en Australie, le film a été produit par la société de production de Levinson, Baltimore Pictures, et distribué par la 20th. Century Fox. Bien qu’il paraisse quelque peu juvénile à première vue, le film a obtenu une note PG-13 de la MPAA.

The film was a box office bomb at the time of its release, despite its cast and filmmaking. Director Barry Levinson was nominated for a Razzie Award for Worst Director (losing to David Seltzer for Shining Through). The film did, however, receive Oscar nominations for Art Direction (losing to Howards End) and Costume Design (losing to Bram Stoker’s Dracula). It was also entered into the 43rd Berlin International Film Festival.

Issu des années fastes, les années 80, ce titre raisonne toujours dans les oreilles de toutes générations confondues.
Șansa face adesea lucrurile bine. Destinat inițial unei coregrafii locale, dar depistat de un producător, acest titlu: „Funky town” al grupului Lips INC avea să experimenteze un succes uimitor la nivel mondial.

Didier Haudepin (Alexandre Motier) et Francis Lacombrade (Georges de Sarre) sont les deux principaux acteurs de ce splendide film réalisé par Jean Delannoy en 1964.
Un amour secret mais concret qui devait se solder par le suicide du jeune Alexandre.
Une puissance, une tendresse mais aussi une violence que des images osées pour l’époque relatent dans une histoire d’amour qui serait banale aujourd’hui. Chapeau bas à ce réalisateur visionnaire.
Les amitiés particulières est un film tiré du célèbre roman de Roger Peyrefitte et édité par Jean Vigneau en 1943.

Womack & Womack était le partenariat de chant et d’écriture de chansons des musiciens américains Linda Womack et de son mari, Cecil Womack. Le duo a eu du succès en tant qu’auteurs-compositeurs pour d’autres artistes et a eu plusieurs succès internationaux en tant que duo de chanteurs dans les années 1980 et 1990.

Freddie James (né le 26 avril 1964) est un musicien canadien de danse et de rythme et de blues, surtout connu pour son tube disco de 1979 « Get Up and Boogie ». Fils de la chanteuse Géraldine Hunt, il est né à Chicago, Illinois et a déménagé à Montréal, Québec dans son enfance.
C’est en 1979 à l’âge de 14 ans qu’il sort l’EP de quatre chansons « Get Up and Boogie. » En 1980, il reçoit deux nominations aux Juno Awards pour le Single de l’année: « Get Up and Boogie. » La même année, il remporte le Canadian Black Music Award du meilleur album. Il enchaîne en 1981 avec l’album « Sweetness. » En plus de son propre travail, il a été producteur crédité sur « Murphy’s Law », un single de sa sœur Rosalind Hunt. En 1985, il apparaît dans une production montréalaise de Hair. En 1987, il tient un second rôle dans le film Wild Thing.
En 1992, il sort l’album plus influencé par le hip hop: « Come into the Jungle » sur Monogram Records. In 1987, he had a supporting role in the film Wild Thing.
In 1992, he released the more hip hop influenced album Come into the Jungle on Monogram Records. In 1999 he appeared on his mother’s album Soultry, Jazzy and Sexy. He has not released any new recorded music since that time, but has continued to perform in the Montreal area, and selected touring dates.
