En Europe, l’industrie de l’automobile n’est pas au mieux de sa forme, en 2016 la musique de Vitalic fut utilisée pour illustrer une pub de la marque Peugeot et contrairement la marque, la musique de Vitalic se porte bien.

While strolling in Annecy, a small French town bordering International Geneva in Switzerland, perhaps you will have the chance to meet there: Pascal Arbez-Nicolas alias Vitalic.

In Europe, the automotive industry is not in the best of shape, in 2016 Vitalic’s music was used to illustrate an advertisement for the Peugeot brand and, unlike the brand, Vitalic’s music is doing well.

In this article, the video clip made in 2016 and co-produced with David Shaw: « Waiting for the stars. » As a bonus, an exclusive interview with subtitles for my English-speaking friends.

« Kelly Watch the Stars » (également écrit « Kelly, Watch the Stars! ») Est une chanson du duo français de musique électronique Air de leur premier album studio, Moon Safari (1998). Il est sorti le 4 mai 1998 en tant que deuxième single de l’album.

La musique a bien été  accueillie par les critiques musicaux. AllMusic a qualifié le titre «pop accessible». Drum ‘n’ Bass: The Rough Guide a également décrit la chanson comme étant un titre « rétro-électronique ». La chanson a aussi été incluse dans l’album « 1001 » que vous devriez écouter avant de mourir.

A ceux nés des années 2000, un bon souvenir et à ceux d’aujourd’hui, un bon instrumental qui n’a pas pris une seule ride.

« Kelly Watch the Stars » (also written « Kelly, Watch the Stars!« ) is a song by French electronic music duo Air from their debut studio album, Moon Safari (1998). It was released on 4 May 1998 as the album’s second single.

The song was well received by music critics. AllMusic called the song « accessible pop. » Drum ‘n’ Bass: The Rough Guide described the song as « retro-electronics ». The song was also included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.

To those born in the 2000s, a good memory and to those of today, a good instrumental that has not aged a single day.

Pour illustrer ce billet, deux très belles chansons qui portent le même titre et dans un premier temps, la chanson de Jenifer Rush qui fut écrite et composée par Gunther Mende, Candy DeRouge, Jennifer Rush et Mary Susan Applegate en 1984. La chanson connaît de nouveau un succès à l’échelle mondiale en 1993 grâce à la version de Céline Dion. Personnellement je préfère la version originale, l’orchestration y étant beaucoup plus harmonieuse.

Vient ensuit la chanson du groupe Frankie Goes to hollywood qui est le troisième single du groupe britannique. Sortie le 19 novembre 1984 en single, la chanson provient de l’album Welcome to the Pleasuredome. Avec cette chanson, Frankie Goes to Hollywood obtient un 3ème numéro 1 consécutif dans les charts britanniques. C’est de nouveau un gros succès dans plusieurs pays d’Europe et en Océanie.

To illustrate this post, two very beautiful songs which bear the same title and firstly, the song by Jenifer Rush which was written and composed by Gunther Mende, Candy DeRouge, Jennifer Rush and Mary Susan Applegate in 1984. the song obtains a new success on a global scale in 1993 thanks to the version by Céline Dion. Personally, I prefer the original version whose orchestration is much more harmonious.

Then, the group’s song Frankie Goes to Hollywood which is the third single from the British group. Released on November 19, 1984 as a single, the song is from the album Welcome to the Pleasuredome. With this song, Frankie Goes to Hollywood reached a 3rd consecutive number 1 in the British charts. It is once again a great success in several countries in Europe and Oceania.

Earth est un groupe de « drone doom » et rock expérimental américain, originaire d’Olympia, dans l’État de Washington. Il est formé en 1989 par Dylan Carlson, Slim Moon, et Greg Babior. Bien qu’ayant joué des styles de musique variés, ils sont plus connus pour être les pionniers du drone doom. Leurs premiers albums peuvent être perçus comme une variation expérimentale du metal des Melvins, influencés par le doom metal.

Roxette est un groupe de pop rock suédois, originaire d’Halmstad. Il comprend Marie Fredriksson (chant, claviers) et Per Gessle (chant, guitare). Formé en 1986, le duo atteint le succès international à la fin des années 1980 avec la sortie de l’album Look Sharp!. L’album suivant, Joyride, publié en 1991, dépasse le succès de son prédécesseur. Roxette s’est classé 19 fois dans les 40 premiers du UK Singles Chart, et a atteint 4 fois le sommet du Billboard Hot 100 avec les chansons The Look, Listen to Your Heart, It Must Have Been Love, et Joyride.

Eya « Bodicea »

« Boadicea » est le vingtième titre instrumental du premier album d’Enya, premier opus de la chanteuse, compositrice et musicienne irlandaise, sorti le 9 mars 1987 chez BBC Records And Tapes. Ce morceau figure dans le documentaire de la BBC « The Celts » (1987), dont il constitue la bande originale. Il a également été inclus dans la réédition d’Enya, « The Celts », parue le 6 novembre 1992 chez WEA. C’est l’un des titres d’Enya les plus samplés.

« Boadicea » is the twentieth track and an instrumental from Irish singer, songwriter, and musician Enya’s debut album, Enya, released on March 9, 1987 by BBC Records And Tapes. released on March 9, 1987 by BBC Records And Tapes, featured in the BBC documentary The Celts (1987) as its soundtrack. It was included on a reissue of Enya, The Celts, released on November 6, 1992 by WEA. It was one of Enya’s most frequently sampled songs.

« Passion » is a 1982 single by « The Flirts, » a female vocal trio based in New York. Bobby Orlando wrote and produced the song.

The Flirts were a project concept group formed by Bobby « O » Orlando to front his performances as an artist, musician and songwriter. The group consisted of Orlando and featured a revolving roster of female session singers and models. Under The Flirts name, Orlando churned out hits « Passion », « Danger », « Helpless » and « Jukebox (Don’t Put Another Dime) ».

Orlando conceived the idea for the Flirts, wrote the songs, played the instruments, and produced the tracks. He then auditioned girls to be the faces of the group. Orlando often called in the services of professional session singers to sing the female vocals for the tracks because most of the performers were trained as dancers, models or actresses. The Flirts went through numerous lineup changes, and with every album release and tour, some girls left while others stayed. Orlando released six studio albums under The Flirts name from 1982 to 1992 and numerous singles.

« Teardrops »

Ça se déguste au petit déjeuner, au Déjeuner et au Dîner sans complexe. C’était il y a 20 ans et ils n’ont pas pris une seule ride.

Womack & Womack était le partenariat de chant et d’écriture de chansons des musiciens américains Linda Womack et de son mari, Cecil Womack. Le duo a eu du succès en tant qu’auteurs-compositeurs pour d’autres artistes et a eu plusieurs succès internationaux en tant que duo de chanteurs dans les années 1980 et 1990.

Les enregistrements ultérieurs, avec d’autres membres de leur famille ont été crédités à The House of Zekkariyas.

It can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch and dinner without complex. It was 20 years ago and  they did not take a wrinkle.

Womack & Womack was the singing and songwriting partnership of American musicians Linda Womack and her husband, Cecil Womack. The duo were successful as songwriters for other artists, and had several international hits as a singing duo in the 1980s and 1990s.

Later recordings, with other members of their family, were credited to The House of Zekkariyas.
