Voilà une magnifique marmite confectionnée par la chocolaterie Stettler en 2002, en hommage à la courageuse Mère Royaume, à l’occasion du 400e anniversaire de l’Escalade.

A l’occasion de cette célébration, les enfants se déguisent.
En faisant du porte à porte et après avoir chanté l’hymne de Genève, le « Cé qu’è lainô », les gosses quémandent quelques pièces ou des friandises. Cela rappelle dans les uses et coutumes la fête de l’Halloween.

On the occasion of this celebration, children dress up.
By going door to door and after singing the Geneva anthem, the « Cé qu’è lainô », the kids beg for a few coins or sweets. This is reminiscent of the Halloween celebration in its customs and traditions.
