Les caisses sans caissières ce n’est pas d’hier ; en Suisse, la chaîne de supermarchés Migros proposait déjà cette alternative  à ses clients il y a 50 ans  mais à la différence c’est qu’à l’époque, ce système palliait à un manque de personnel qualifié alors qu’aujourd’hui, c’est sur le personnel qualifié qu’on lésine.

On pensait déjà à des caisses sans caissières! Le patron de Migros à l’époque avec à sa solde 105’000 employés, promettait que les caissières survivraient à la robotisation.

Rien n’est moins sur aujourd’hui.

Checkouts without cashiers are not new; in Switzerland, the supermarket chain Migros already offered this alternative to its customers 50 years ago, but the difference is that at the time, this system compensated for a lack of qualified personnel, whereas today, it is the qualified personnel who are marginalized.
