L’Agence régionale de santé et le parquet d’Aix-en-Provence ont indiqué avoir ouvert une enquête à la suite du décès d’une jeune fille de 17 ans, 11 jours après l’injection d’une dose du vaccin Pfizer. A ce jour, seuls les vaccins Moderna et Pfizer contre le Covid-19 sont autorisés sur les 12-17 ans. Sofia est décédée mardi dernier 21 septembre à l’hôpital d’ Aix-en-Provence, après un malaise survenu la veille dans son établissement scolaire, un lycée de Gardanne ( Bouches-du-Rhône), a expliqué Farida, sa tante et marraine.
Les obsèques ont eu lieu ce lundi. « Les médecins ont noté une embolie pulmonaire massive inexpliquée », a-t-elle assuré. « Des analyses médicales et pharmacologiques sont en cours », a déclaré l’ARS. L’agence de santé ajoute qu’il est « trop tôt pour savoir s’il y a un lien ou non » entre ce décès et la vaccination.
De son côté, le parquet d’Aix-en-Provence a indiqué avoir ouvert une enquête en recherche des causes de la mort et a demandé une autopsie. Celle-ci a déjà été en partie réalisée mais des analyses complémentaires sont toujours en cours, notamment au niveau anatomopathologique et toxicologique. « Cela prend un peu de temps. On va tout faire pour savoir les causes de ce décès », a ajouté Achille Kiriakides le procureur de la République d’Aix-en-Provence.
